Resume Bestie is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology, or context. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Built-in accessibility controls
Every page on Resume Bestie includes a floating accessibility menu (bottom-left of the screen). From there you can enable:
- Bigger Text — increases base font size site-wide.
- Highlight Links — adds an underline and emphasis to every link.
- Readable Font — switches to a system sans-serif with extra letter spacing.
- Pause Animations — disables motion and transitions.
- High Contrast — boosts contrast for text and interactive elements.
- Dark Mode — inverts the surface palette for low-light reading.
- Monochrome — removes color for users who prefer grayscale.
- Low Saturation — softens color intensity.
Your preferences are saved on your device and applied on every visit.
Keyboard and assistive tech
- All interactive elements are reachable by keyboard with visible focus rings.
- Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and ARIA labels are used throughout.
- Forms have associated labels and descriptive error messages.
- The site respects the operating system prefers-reduced-motion setting.
AI-generated content
Some features use AI to draft resume content, suggestions, and feedback. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and should always be reviewed before use. We surface this notice wherever AI features appear in the product.
Known limitations
We continue to improve. Some third-party embeds (payment forms, charts) may not yet meet AA in every state. If you hit a barrier, please contact us so we can prioritize a fix.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility issue, email support@resumebestie.com. We aim to respond within five business days.
